Horror Ambience is a sound resource pack that adds a darker, more immersive atmosphere to horror-themed Minecraft experiences, either alongside the Horror Corner Modpack or on its own. Its environmental ambience shifts the mood across biomes and locations, with examples such as whispering forests and ominous caves. It also reworks block sounds, making wood creak, stone echo, and glass crack with a more unsettling resonance, and gives hostile mobs eerie growls and distant cries.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Changes 41 interface textures, the main menu background and 1 core shader file.
Adds 6 other files and 599 sounds.
Textures are mostly 256 by 256 pixels, up to 1966 by 1966.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a resource pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A resource pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
