ManePear Overlay is a PvP-focused resource pack designed to improve visibility and make fights feel clearer in SMPs and duels, while also suiting general grinding. It lowers fire animations and moves shields down both in the player’s view and in their held position, leaving more of the screen visible during combat. The pack also includes clearer water, bordered ores, small ultimates, and custom Mane-themed totems and golden apples. Its look is inspired by ManePear’s content and incorporates credited elements from Vanilla Tweaks and Shield Corrections.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Changes 36 block textures, 2 item textures (Golden apple and Totem of undying), 43 mob and entity textures (Shield, Shield base and Shield base nopattern), 4 interface textures, 8 particle textures and 66 models.
Adds 2 block textures, 1 item texture, 31 mob and entity textures and 3 models.
Block textures are mostly 16 by 16 pixels, up to 32 by 32. 8 block and item textures are animated.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a resource pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A resource pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
