Packtober is a Halloween-themed resource pack that gives Minecraft a spooky seasonal look through changes to creatures, items, scenery, and the interface. Its distinctive swaps turn bows into trumpets and double chests into coffins, alongside themed details such as a pumpkin chest, Day of the Dead skulls and costumes, horse costumes, and a totem pole. The world gains graves, ghosts, crows and crow cages, black cats, bats with fangs, autumn leaves, mini pumpkins, graveyard iron bars, and chain fencing. Other visual changes include a chandelier, candles, a scarecrow wither, pumpkin wither skeleton, skeleton villagers, and altered zombies, spiders, and an elder guardian. The pack also adds themed paintings, including pumpkin, skeleton, and Sans designs, plus a scythe, a head in a jar, a giant eye, and a trick-or-treat bucket. Interface touches include an orange UI, custom menu and options backgrounds, a revised XP bar and hunger bar, and a themed loading screen.

No harmful code found in the parts we could check
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.14 to 1.16.3.
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
One of its files cannot be checked: its author does not let other sites download it from CurseForge.
Why we show this: a resource pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A resource pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

No known modpack uses it.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. None is for a recent Minecraft version. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
