PM Weather Enhancements is a resource pack that improves the sounds and visuals of Protomanly’s Weather Mod. It adds 118 thunder sounds, split between distant and close thunder, 40 hail sounds, and broader sound improvements for rain and wind. Visual changes include an improved rendering pipeline for clouds and precipitation shafts, along with altered particle and precipitation textures. Lightning can appear in multiple colors with randomized intensity, and the pack adds intracloud lightning and base crawlers or spiders. The pack requires the Computational Noise setting to be off and can affect performance, usually only at a computational-noise-level scale.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Changes 4 particle textures.
Adds 5 other files and 1 sound. Also has files for 1 other mod: Pmweather.
Textures are mostly 128 by 128 pixels, up to 2048 by 2048.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a resource pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A resource pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
