Potato is a playful resource pack that replaces familiar Minecraft visuals with potato-themed versions, including diamonds, emeralds, the sun and the crosshair. The diamond sword becomes a potato on a stick, and the pack also potato-ifies other ordinary visuals. Its textures are made in Microsoft Paint, giving some items a deliberately uneven, more pixelated look.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Changes 36 block textures, 26 item textures, 23 mob and entity textures (Decorated pot and Slime), 63 interface textures, the main menu background, the enchantment glint, 2 models and 4 other files.
Adds 3 block textures, 4 item textures, 2 mob and entity textures, 6 interface textures, 1 language file and 2 core shader files. Also has files for 1 other mod: Appleskin.
Block textures are mostly 64 by 64 pixels, up to 160 by 160.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a resource pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A resource pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
