Programmer Tweaks is a curated resource pack that blends adjusted modern textures with programmer-art-inspired details, aiming to restore some of Minecraft’s older visual character without lowering texture quality. Its visual changes include polished programmer-art nether, sand and cobblestone textures; animated lava and harsher fire; glittering redstone ore; more textured planks; greener grass and plants; and less glassy diamonds with classic gold and diamond hues. It also reworks details across mobs and terrain, with a blazier blaze, pink pigmen with full eyes, a more threatening phantom, more faithful mushroom sprites, realistic granite and diorite, and adjusted contrast and visual noise to help newer textures fit the sharper older style. The pack brings back or reuses classic sounds, including animal calls, splashing, doors, bow and crossbow sounds, explosions, and footsteps that echo block-hit sounds; it also includes Steve’s “UOH!” sound. Additional documented visual changes include spiders’ old spots, blue cave spiders, old-style faces for skeletons and zombies, beta-like foliage colors, and shiny diamond and gold ores. Programmer Tweaks is focused on aesthetics; the companion datapack Betta Balance handles beta-inspired survival gameplay changes instead.

No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a resource pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A resource pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
