Realism Mats is a Minecraft resource pack that reworks the game’s visuals for a more lifelike appearance, with high-detail textures made through photography, scanning, painting, and 3D sculpting. Its PBR textures and Parallax Occlusion Mapping add surface depth and support realistic lighting, shadows, and reflections when used with compatible shaders, including SEUS PTGI, Bliss, Iris, and BSL. The pack covers environments and everyday scenes, with examples including detailed grass, foliage, water, stone, snow, ice, sand, bookshelves, and other interior and terrain textures. It is offered in multiple resolutions from 64x to 1024x, letting players choose between lighter textures and higher levels of detail. A separate free Realism Mats Furniture Pack adds placeable furnishings such as an armchair, cabinet, bookcase, benches, tables, a television, and a pendant light.

No harmful code found in the parts we could check
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
One of its files for recent versions cannot be checked: its author does not let other sites download it from CurseForge.
Why we show this: a resource pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A resource pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
