Retrove is a resource pack that reimagines Minecraft with a retro pixel-art look inspired by classic NES games and a limited color palette. Its visuals include environments such as oak forests, taiga villages, jungles, rivers, and mixed biomes, alongside structures and builds including a woodland mansion, a ruined Nether portal, castles, a chapel window, and a watermill. The pack is still under development, with roughly 15% complete, and OptiFine is recommended for the full experience.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Changes 1,111 block textures, grass and leaf colors and 20 models.
Adds 34 block textures and 9 models. In OptiFine's formats: glowing textures, custom skies and custom colors.
Block textures are mostly 16 by 16 pixels, up to 32 by 32. 54 block and item textures are animated.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a resource pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A resource pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
