RG Shader is a Java resource pack that adds shader-like visual effects through textures, aiming to make the world more lifelike while remaining usable on lower-end devices. Grass, leaves, and trees wave, while lighting and shadows are smoothed and water is made clearer and reflective. The source descriptions disagree about atmospheric effects: one lists realistic skies, sunrise and sunset cycles, fog, and bloom, while the project note says sky, fog, and godrays are missing because this is a Bedrock-ported pack.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
Changes 98 block textures, the sun, the moon and grass and leaf colors.
Adds 25 block textures and 1 sky texture.
Block textures are mostly 16 by 16 pixels, up to 64 by 64. 116 block and item textures are animated.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a resource pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A resource pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
