Skys 8x8 is a low-resolution resource pack that gives Minecraft blocks an 8×8 texture treatment. Its content includes the different wood types, stone and grass, a completed set of colored blocks for the creative inventory, and nearly everything in the Nether. Named texture sets include birch, spruce, acacia, oak, dark oak, cave and Nether blocks. Parallax occlusion mapping, which can make blocks appear three-dimensional when used with shaders, is described as a future addition rather than part of the current pack.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Changes 427 block textures and 34 mob and entity textures (Bed and Shulker).
Adds 2 block textures.
Block textures are mostly 8 by 8 pixels, up to 16 by 16. 5 block and item textures are animated.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a resource pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A resource pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

Modpacks that include Skys 8x8 in at least one of their versions, most downloaded first.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
