Vanilla-style textures let shaders handle the lighting instead.

Textureless is a resource pack originally made to test shader functionality and quality, while keeping the look of Minecraft’s vanilla textures. It removes baked lighting from the textures, leaving flat color tones and relying on PBR shader rendering for its shading instead. The recommended 32x release uses the full LabPBR specification; other releases include a 16x version and 32x versions with ambient occlusion baked into the textures, including one using the older PBR specification. The pack requires OptiFine and a shader that supports PBR materials, with Kappa, MollyVX, Complementary, BSL, Chocapic and Loop among the suggested options.
Written from CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
Not checked yet
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.13 to 1.18.2.
Its author does not let other sites download its files from CurseForge, so we cannot check them.
Why we show this: a resource pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A resource pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in it yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

Modpacks that include Textureless [32x PBR] in at least one of their versions, most downloaded first.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. None is for a recent Minecraft version. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
