Undergrowth is a resource pack that adds small natural details to Minecraft’s landscapes, making forests, beaches and other biomes feel more varied. In forests, birch forests, dark forests, jungles, savannas, bamboo forests, taigas and old-growth forests, grass blocks, podzol and coarse dirt can gain leaf piles or sticks reflecting the wood type common to the biome; those surfaces can also spawn rocks. Beaches can feature three shell variants, while birch trees may grow bracket fungus and bushes can replace grass. Dark-forest grass and mycelium can sprout small mushrooms, and grass also gets a shorter variant.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Changes 8 models and 1 core shader file.
Adds 18 block textures and 42 models. In OptiFine's formats: 22 connected textures.
Block textures are mostly 16 by 16 pixels, up to 32 by 32.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a resource pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A resource pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
