Vanilla PvP is a resource pack that keeps Minecraft’s default visual style while adjusting textures and interface elements to improve visibility and make PvP and survival gameplay easier to read. Combat-focused changes include a less obstructive shield, reduced first-person fire, clearer crystal-PvP explosions and totems, outlined cobwebs, and red diamond or netherite swords when enchanted with Knockback. Smaller utility and food item textures, a transparent inventory interface, adjusted fonts, and a removed vignette help keep more of the screen visible. For exploration and resource gathering, ores and powdered snow are easier to spot, infested stone and suspicious sand or gravel have distinct textures, and fully grown crops are marked with white flowers or blue nether wart. The pack also adds glass-bottom boats for seeing underwater while sailing, red trapped chests, 3D lanterns and torches, lighter rain and snow, and visual indicators for armor trims and waxed copper. Other changes include distinct axolotl variant item textures, revised glow lichen, clearer wither hearts, improved block-breaking effects, and custom mace textures for Density and Breach.

No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a resource pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A resource pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

Modpacks that include vanilla pvp in at least one of their versions, most downloaded first.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 2 releases needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This counts in the grade, but it is too few to lose points.
