About
Veinify Better Mining is a vanilla resource pack that makes mining and cave exploration less tedious by using visual changes to help players spot useful resources, hazards, and tool condition. Ores glow in low light, ancient debris is recolored pale grey, amethyst crystals and suspicious gravel and sand have increased contrast, and stone and deepslate are easier to distinguish. Infested blocks are marked with a cross, breaking cracks are easier to see in the dark, cobwebs are thinner, and pointed dripstone and spikes stand out more clearly as hazards. Tools flash orange below 10% durability and red at 1%, while their textures change to indicate Efficiency levels I through V. The pack also makes water clearer, removes underwater and lava fog, lowers flames, and makes powdered snow and glow lichen easier to tell apart from similar-looking blocks. Bedrock is retextured to prevent coordinate tracking, and the pack includes a fix that makes glow lichen look less like diamonds.
