A dark, clear interface with an obsidian-inspired look.

Volcanic Dark is an obsidian-inspired resource pack that gives Minecraft's interface a genuinely dark appearance while keeping it clear and easy to read. It reworks screens including the survival and creative inventories, recipe book, chests, pause menu, and HUD, with examples shown in both a lush cave and a nighttime setting. For hard-to-see items, it can add visibility-enhancing outlines that users can disable through Respackopts; that settings menu also lets users turn off the pack's health and hunger bars. The pack supports interface elements for AppleSkin, AuthMe, Better Command Block UI, Enchanted's Sodium Options, Entity Texture and Model Features, Inventory Blur, InventoryProfilesNext, ItemSwapper, ModMenu, ReplayMod, Respackopts, RoughlyEnoughItems, and SimpleVoiceChat. Respackopts also allows other resource packs' HUD elements to appear alongside Volcanic Dark's interface.
Written from Modrinth , CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
Changes 510 interface textures and 3 core shader files.
Adds 25 item textures, 41 interface textures, 10 other files, 29 models, 1 language file and 4 core shader files. In OptiFine's formats: 34 other files. Also has files for 15 other mods: Modmenu, Bettercommandblockui, Roughlyenoughitems and 12 more.
Textures are mostly 20 by 20 pixels, up to 320 by 320.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a resource pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A resource pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
