World War I is a resource pack for recreating trench warfare and other wartime scenes, with somber, desaturated textures for a harsh front-line atmosphere. It adds visual variants for a broad arsenal, including Gewehr 98, Lebel M1886 and Lee-Enfield rifles, the BAR M1918, Chauchat, Lewis Gun and MG08 machine guns, MP18 and M1897 trench shotgun, pistols such as the Luger P08 and M1911, plus a flamethrower and flare gun. Anvils can be used to reskin equipment as French, British, American, German or Ottoman uniforms and headwear, including gas masks, pickelhaubes and kabalaks; weapons also include bayonets and melee options such as trench knives, axes, shovels and maces. Grenades include Mills bombs, Stielhandgranaten, antitank and plane bombs, and gas grenades, while a renamed firework provides a rifle grenade. The pack also retextures functional blocks as an MG08, ammunition and medical crates, wire fences, a detonator and hazardous or swampy ground, and supplies decorative crates, sandbags, fences and ropes for building fortifications. Other item variants include bullets, a food can, lighter, trench whistle, medic kit, binoculars and a throwable rock, with immersive sounds for gunfire, explosions, bullet impacts and screams. With the required entity-texture and model support, players can encounter reskinned civilians, riflemen, trench assaults, officers, chemists and experimental soldiers, and equip Albatros D.III or Sopwith Camel aircraft with matching machine guns. Custom item appearances are unlocked by renaming designated base-game items at an anvil, and the pack requires OptiFine or CIT Resewn rather than working in vanilla Minecraft; custom entity appearances require additional entity texture and model support.

No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a resource pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A resource pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
