Xonk Sounds is a resource pack that replaces some vanilla audio and adds more than 200 sound effects for a more varied Minecraft soundscape. It gives distinct footstep, hitting, placing, and breaking sounds to block families including grass-like blocks such as leaves and flowers, stone, gravel and dirt, sand, wood, glass and ice, cloth, metal, and snow. Lava, fire, and water also have new sounds. Ambient audio varies by environment: caves have a steady rumble and occasional background sounds, grassy areas have soft wind and birds, snowy areas have cold wind and crows, deserts have dry wind, giant tree forests creak, and jungles feature frequent bird calls. The pack is unfinished, so many vanilla sounds remain unchanged.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.17.1 to 1.18.2.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
Adds 414 sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.17.1 to 1.18.2.
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a resource pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A resource pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
