Atmospheric lighting, skies, and natural landscapes. Where the sky becomes part of the world.

Aerial is a shader pack designed to make familiar Minecraft landscapes feel more atmospheric and believable without dramatically changing the game's art style. Its soft, directional sunlight, detailed shadows, and atmospheric haze give terrain, vegetation, and structures more depth, while distant mountains fade naturally into the horizon. The sky shifts through subtle daytime color transitions, warm sunrises, deep-blue nights with visible stars, and large volumetric clouds; clouds darken and thicken during storms to heighten the sense of weather. Rivers, lakes, and oceans respond to changing light with reflections and depth coloration, while subtle underwater effects keep water clear and readable. Smooth exposure changes help caves, interiors, and outdoor areas feel natural to explore, and compatible PBR resource packs can make stone, wood, metals, and other surfaces react more naturally to light. Options let players adjust cloud quality and coverage, atmospheric density, shadows, water, exposure, material effects, and post-processing strength.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Changes how the game looks: 17 shader programs, the dimensions are not stated in the pack. Draws its own shadows, water and sky.
Settings in English.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a shader cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A shader has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
