A horror shader that twists your view with demonic distortions.

Demonic Possession is a psychological horror post-processing shader for creating unsettling possession sequences and distorted perception in horror maps, analog horror, ARGs, and cinematic storytelling. A shifting spiral vortex continuously pulls at the image, while possession intensity rises and falls, briefly offering clarity before the distortion returns. At stronger moments, the screen fractures into mirrored fragments and suffers randomized horizontal tears, with additional RGB channel separation adding to the corrupted appearance. Colors drain toward a hostile crimson palette as animated vein-like patterns spread beneath the image, shadows deepen, and a constricting vignette closes around the view. Animated film noise reinforces the unstable, interfered-with look. Its intense warping, flashing color changes, and strong vignette may be uncomfortable for players sensitive to motion or visual instability.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Changes how the game looks: 5 shader programs, the dimensions are not stated in the pack.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a shader cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A shader has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
