Dithering3D is a Minecraft shader pack that gives the world a pixel-art, manga, comic-book, or print-like appearance through procedural dithering. Its distinctive effect anchors dots to 3D surfaces rather than the screen, so patterns stay attached as you move, while fractal scaling splits or merges dots to keep their screen-space density consistent across distances. You can choose grayscale dithering, RGB channel dots, or CMYK halftone with rotated print-style dot angles. In-game options let you adjust dot size and variability, contrast, stretching on angled surfaces, exposure, and brightness offset, with additional controls for inverted dots, camera-rotation compensation, and quantized layers. The shader also offers built-in color palettes, including Game Boy, CGA, VirtualBoy, Sepia, Nord, Solarized, Pico-8, and Eldritch, plus custom two-, four-, and eight-color palettes.
Written from Modrinth , CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
Changes how the game looks: 17 shader programs, the dimensions are not stated in the pack. Draws its own water, sky, clouds and weather.
Settings in English and French.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a shader cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A shader has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
AI was used for its text
The author declares AI text on Modrinth.
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs and code history yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
