HyperShader is a Minecraft shader designed to add detailed, realistic lighting and environmental effects while remaining adjustable for modest hardware. Water has animated waves, reflections, underwater refraction and caustics, foamy shores, and sun or moonlight that can stretch across its surface; lava glows and creates a visible heat haze nearby. Weather changes the look of the world: rain wets blocks and forms puddles, drifting cloud shadows move over the landscape, lightning illuminates the surroundings, and clearing skies can bring a rainbow; snowfall coats blocks in sparkling frost beneath pale snowy skies. Lighting includes soft shadows and volumetric sunbeams, with underwater rays, silver-blue moon rays, and gradual eye adaptation when moving between caves and brighter areas. Light-emitting blocks such as torches, lanterns, campfires, glowstone, candles, and sea lanterns cast their own warm or cool-colored light, while diamond, emerald, lapis, redstone, gold, and copper ore shimmer in darkness. The night sky features round stars and, over snowy biomes, a rippling green-and-violet aurora; sunsets add fiery cloud colors and vivid reflections on the water. Rich PBR materials add surface depth, and in-game controls let players tune lighting, stars, water and lava appearance, shadows, god rays, material relief, and effects such as aurora and ore glow. Its visual quality can be adjusted through shader settings to suit different hardware, and a LabPBR-compatible resource pack is recommended for full material detail.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Changes how the game looks: 18 shader programs, for the Nether and the End. Draws its own shadows, water, clouds and weather.
Settings in English and Spanish.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a shader cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A shader has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
