Nova Reimagined is a stylized Minecraft shader pack based on Complementary Reimagined, adding configurable visual systems while retaining the base pack's broader shader features. Its signature snow effect paints pixel-patterned coverage onto terrain, paths, foliage, wood, and structural blocks in snowy biomes, with coverage fading beneath canopies and near light sources to create natural-looking melt patterns; the full system requires the Nova Reimagined Snow and Season Cache companion mods. Optional cel-shaded lighting divides illumination into adjustable bands, and configurable dark outlines emphasize block silhouettes for a more illustrative look. Lighting and atmospheric controls can be tuned separately for dawn, dusk, day, and night, with distinct rain and storm profiles, while underwater settings adjust color, brightness, fog, and light shafts by time of day. Water appearance is adjustable through controls for color, foam, texture detail, and refraction, and the pack also offers alternative tone-mapping operators and SMAA anti-aliasing alongside TAA. For Distant Horizons, configurable LOD fading and overdraw protection smooth the transition to distant terrain, while custom texture overlays can match grass, stone, sand, and other materials to the nearby world. Most stylistic effects and snow settings can be enabled or adjusted independently, allowing the pack to be tailored to visual preference, resource packs, and performance needs.
Written from Modrinth and the GitHub README . How we write it
Changes how the game looks: 34 shader programs, for the Overworld, the Nether and the End. Draws its own shadows, water, sky, clouds and weather.
Settings in English. Has programs for Distant Horizons.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a shader cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A shader has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

No known modpack uses it.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
