Verlixia is a shaderpack based on BSL that changes the game’s lighting, color, atmosphere, and surface reflections. It gives daytime a warmer tone and nights, caves, and storms a darker, cooler look; darkness effects also add desaturation, boosted film grain, and slight chromatic aberration. Water reflects light by default, and blocks gain shiny reflections after rain, making wet surfaces more noticeable. Soul torches and redstone objects emit subtle colored light, while heat haze ripples around sources such as lava, fire, and torches, as well as in deserts, savannas, and the Nether. Wind gusts make vegetation and other waving elements move with randomized variation. The End has a purple-magenta palette and an endless aurora, while the Moon is more bluish; the Nether is more vibrant, with stronger orange and red tones and heat haze near heat sources. The shaderpack can run with Iris and Sodium or OptiFine, and is described as working best with Iris and Sodium integration.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Changes how the game looks: 30 shader programs, for the Overworld, the Nether and the End. Draws its own shadows, water, sky, clouds and weather.
Settings in English. Has programs for Distant Horizons.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a shader cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A shader has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
