CliffTree is a vanilla-styled Overworld world-generation datapack that adds new biomes and reshapes familiar landscapes while preserving a recognizable vanilla feel. Its new surface biomes range from the searing Shrublands and Oasis to the chilly Bog and Tundra, alongside variations such as Snowy Old Growth Taiga and Sparse Forests. Rivers and water colors are adjusted across almost every biome, oceans are deeper, and underwater sand, clay, and gravel form more cohesive gradients. Surface biomes give way to underground cave biomes, including icy Frozen Caves, terracotta-filled Warm Caves, and the magma-, lava-, and basalt-filled Inferno, where iron is more concentrated. Existing landscapes receive visual and distribution changes, from terracotta bands and greener pastures on Savanna Plateaus to fallen forest logs, cliffside stone, and broad beaches reminiscent of older vanilla terrain. Tree shapes and foliage rules also change: grasses and flowers can grow on sand and snow, while custom sapling rules determine which trees can grow there and allow rare types such as Jungle Bushes and Swamp Oaks to emerge under particular conditions. Oceans gain a Kelp Forest biome, rock formations and stone arches, deeper-water spires and plateaus, underwater bone formations, and larger magma-filled ravines; lukewarm, frozen, and warm oceans also receive distinctive seagrass, basalt, and coral features. In the current feature set, ten sky biomes generate above the clouds, with region-specific types such as Azure Skies, Celadon Skies, and Indigo Skies, plus high-altitude areas called Frozen Summit, The Frontier, and others. These skies have darker colors, closer fog, and occasional star particles; rain and snow do not fall there, while hostile mobs can spawn when normal conditions allow, except in the specifically mob-free Atmospore and The Frontier. Below Pale Gardens, the Pale Grotto replaces the Lush Cave ecosystem with hanging moss and pale moss, and its moss can spread against ordinary moss and alter nearby moss-related vegetation. Some biomes also have distinctive ambient effects, including tinted light, variable fog and cloud colors, and darker visual skylight in Pale Gardens and Dark Forests.

Adds 1 recipe, 2 advancements, 1 loot table, 91 tags, 2 loot table files and 7 more files in other folders.
Replaces 189 of vanilla Minecraft's world generation files, 9 other data files, 4 loot tables, 3 tags and 1 advancement.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a data pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A data pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
