Backports modern minecraft features to previous versions, trying to keep it as accurate as vanilla Minecraft
No points lost.
70.8 of the 71 points that apply = 99.7, so 99 out of 100: only a project that lost no point gets 100. The points above are rounded to whole numbers.
Vanilla Backport brings selected modern Minecraft content to older versions, combining features that were previously split across separate backport mods, with an emphasis on matching vanilla behavior. Its additions focus on blocks, mobs, and world generation, and most features can be enabled or disabled through configuration. The Pale Garden content adds a Dark Forest-like biome with Pale Oak trees and wood, Pale Moss, hanging moss, day-changing Eyeblossom flowers, and Creaking Hearts that spawn Creakings at night. Creakings become active when a nearby player looks at them, and freeze while watched; destroying their connected Creaking Heart removes them. The Chase the Skies additions include Dried Ghasts that hydrate in water and hatch into Ghastlings, which grow into mountable Happy Ghasts; a Happy Ghast can carry up to four players using a Harness. Other additions bring recent overworld details such as leaf litter, wildflowers, bushes, dry grass, fallen trees, falling leaves, farm-animal variants, wolf variants, and armadillos, along with desert ambience and updated bundles.

No harmful code found in the parts we could check
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
4 of its files for recent versions are not checked yet.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends, in the 4 of its 8 files we read
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images, sounds and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
Point at or tap a version to see its loaders.
These projects do not work together with Vanilla Backport: their authors or Vanilla Backport's author say so. If you install both, the game can crash or some features can stop working. Some of them do the same job as Vanilla Backport, so you only need one.
