Make the death/soul form mechanics from WoW in Minecraft.
23.5 of the 64 points that apply = 37 out of 100. The points above are rounded to whole numbers.
After Life WoW recreates World of Warcraft-style death and soul-form mechanics in Minecraft, turning death into a journey to recover your body or choose another way back to life. When you die, the mod creates a body and places you in a visible, free-flying soul form; other players can see your soul, and a recovery compass helps you locate your body. As a soul, you cannot open containers, attack mobs, or pick up ground items, but holding the spirit orb lets you pass through thin walls. You can revive at your body, ask another player to use a totem of undying on you, give up and return to your last respawn point, or travel to a graveyard; giving up or reviving at a graveyard can apply temporary penalties. Graveyards generate in four biome-themed variants for grass, sand, snow, and red sand or terracotta areas, offering an alternative revival point. The mod can preserve experience after death while it gradually decays until revival, and server settings can adjust the dead body's placement, body type, and whether revival options or their penalties are enabled. Players can customize the soul-form blue filter, background music, and death sound, while configurable revival effects can include up to three potion effects with adjustable duration and strength.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 2 blocks, 1 item, 6 advancements, 4 sounds and 4 key bindings.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found in the parts we could check
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
One of its files for recent versions cannot be checked: its author does not let other sites download it from CurseForge.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends, in the 1 of its 2 files we read
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
