Aquatic Plus enriches Minecraft’s oceans and rivers with more than 30 real and fantastical creatures, creating a more varied, interactive underwater world while retaining a vanilla-friendly feel. Its wildlife ranges from schooling fish such as sardines, minnows, tuna, and parrotfish to unusual deep-sea creatures such as gulper eels, bonefish, and giant deep-sea isopods, alongside mythical seahorses and the aggressive Maxilla Mortis. Creatures behave in distinct ways: parrotfish eat stone and dead coral around reefs, lionfish attack in groups, and the Pink Sunfish benefits nearby players with a status effect. Some animals also support exploration and travel: players can ride deep-sea isopods without a saddle, while narwhals and manta rays can be ridden with saddles. The creatures provide food and useful materials, including fish for meals and lionfish spikes, viperfish teeth, and seahorse spikes for crafting weapons and shields. Combat gear offers varied uses, from weapons that combine melee and ranged attacks to projectiles that inflict effects such as freezing, slowness, or land drowning. The mod also adds harmful aquatic status effects, including land drowning, sea bane, and numbing, with antidotes that can remove these effects. Other additions give underwater discoveries practical uses, such as Dumbo Blobs that can grant night vision or carry a rider to the surface, and ghostly gel that lets players and passive creatures pass through while slowing hostile mobs.

Changes the game's code in 2 areas: Rendering and graphicsChanges 2 game code files in this area: drawing mobs, items, particles and textures on screen. and Mobs and their behaviorChanges 1 game code file in this area: mobs, animals, villagers, projectiles and how they move and act..
Adds 2 blocks, 108 items, 50 entities, 31 recipes, 2 advancements, 30 loot tables and 1 sound.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
