DarkRPG is a fantasy RPG modpack built around questing, character customization, magic, exploration, and multiplayer play, with more than 1,800 quests to guide players through its content. Players shape their characters by combining an aspect, origin, type, divine aspect, and class, while origins provide distinct perks and can be changed later with a craftable Orb of Origin. Quest chapters offer objectives and item rewards, and the pack also includes skills to develop in magic, combat, and mining, plus more than 100 custom recipes. Magic adds wands, spells, special enchantments, and tables, with systems including Amethyst Imbuement, Wizards, and Paladins & Priests. Exploration brings extra biomes, new bosses with loot to hunt, and added weapons, armor, blocks, and items; players can travel by waystones, aircraft, and other mounts, including flying mounts that support multiple passengers. The pack supports a social server experience with an official MMO server, parties, currency and trading, auction houses and shops, and a casino with Creeper and XP games offering rare-item rewards. Players can protect their builds with land claims, navigate with integrated minimap and world-map tools, and use waystones to teleport to friends.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Fabric, 24 Oct 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 22 Oct 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the projects yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 500 of its 504 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
10 mods send something about you
We read the code of 443 of its 447 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 20 of the 381 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
66 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
