Biome Improvement adds vanilla-style environmental details across existing biomes, aiming to make them feel less barren while keeping additions restrained. Forests gain stumps, fallen logs, old tree variants, patches of ground cover, and scattered rocks; birch and spruce forests also feature details such as glow-lichen logs, mossy cobblestone, podzol, and berry bushes. Other distinctive additions include muddy jungle and mangrove terrain, giant dark-oak trees and boulders in dark forests, striped terracotta boulders in savannas, and biome-specific ice, sandstone, or prismarine formations around cold regions, deserts, and oceans. Caves receive features such as dripstone, cobwebs, azalea bushes and moss around lush caves, and small underground amethyst geodes; Nether additions include basalt and blackstone formations, bone fragments, and small geodes. Dark forests can contain partly buried spider nests with loot, while plains, birch forests, and especially flower forests may hold rarer bee nests, each containing an immovable Royal Honey block. Standing on Royal Honey grants absorption whose duration increases with nearby beehives or nests and whose strength increases with nearby flowers and flowering blocks. Fairy Rings appear in swamps, old-growth taigas, forests, and dark forests; completing a ring with a single type of plant produces particle effects and experience, and summons one or two Allays depending on the ring’s size.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 14 blocks, 8 structures and 1 advancement.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
