A modpack for magic, technology, building, and plenty more.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 606 graded mods, 345 are graded A or B, 134 C and 127 D to F. Its newest release is for Minecraft 1.18.2. See the mods
AMP Mechanisms, Magic & Masonry is a large, curated modpack that brings together magic, technology, building, exploration, and other gameplay additions, with more than 600 customized mods. Its world-generation content spans varied regions and landmarks, including caves, mountains, forests, villages, haunted villages, bastions, Nether fortresses, and End cities, ships, and floating islands. Exploration is supported by new biomes such as those from Regions Unexplored, along with expanded village variety and structure generation. Building options include decorative pavers and railings, sliding doors, lattices, connected glass, and expanded furniture, roofs, paths, and other architectural details. The pack also adds or adjusts creatures and encounters, including Creeper Overhaul variants, Illager Invasion, Magma Monsters, and Realm RPG sea dwellers and fallen adventurers. Additional touches include custom recipes, changes to piglin bartering, varied mob models and textures, and merged or rotated block textures. Performance-focused configuration and optimizations are part of the pack, with changes to chunk delivery, simulation distance, and other server settings alongside loading and rendering improvements.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.18.2 · Forge, 31 May 2024). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
3 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 28 May 2024 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the mods we checked
We checked 613 of its 622 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
8 mods send something about you
We read the code of 613 of its 622 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make its mods
We found no AI use from before this release (31 May 2024) in the 471 mods we checked.
28 mods show AI use only from after it, so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
151 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
