Celestia adds synchronized shooting stars and meteor showers to Minecraft’s night sky, with the server determining each meteor’s path and appearance so nearby players see the same event at the same time. Shooting stars are scheduled to appear every night, while sporadic stars can streak in from any direction and showers unfold over time with a shared radiant and natural variation. Moon phases influence how often stars appear and subtly shift their colors: new moons favor more activity and blue or cyan tones, while full moons bring fewer stars and warmer white or gold hues. Players can make a wish when a star passes near the center of their view while they are looking at the sky, triggering a small visual and sound effect and granting Luck I for 60 seconds, at most once per Minecraft night per player. The mod also includes advancements for witnessing stars, making a wish, seeing a complete shower, and using astronomy or debug tools, along with special cyan and violet stars in The End. An optional Slow mode meters smaller star clusters at controlled intervals for calmer skies while preserving large bursts, and server owners can adjust nightly star counts, shower frequency, cluster sizes, Slow mode, and End-star frequency. Visual options include lighter trail settings and a cinematic photographic mode with long, colored trails that appear progressively; its sample detail adapts when frame rates drop, and occasional fast meteors add another visual variation.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds:
Counted from the files of the mod. Content made only in its code is not counted.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
OpenAI gpt-image is named in the images in its files
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
