    About

    Changeling is a shapeshifting mod for Minecraft that lets you gain the ability to morph into mobs by killing them, for survival play, convenience, or roleplay. Some vanilla mob forms also grant abilities, such as spider-like climbing, fire resistance, flight or gliding, night vision, and breathing underwater; triggered actions include explosions, fireballs, teleportation, and high jumps, while attacks can poison, wither, or knock back targets. In survival, an acquired-morph menu lets you choose forms, return to your player form, browse and favorite morphs, assign quick-access keys, and retry a recent morph; a transformation can fail if there is not enough room to avoid suffocation. Configuration lets players adjust morph properties such as health, speed, hostility, first-person hands, abilities, attacks, and actions, as well as blacklist forms from the menu and prevent them from dropping from mobs. The mod also provides a morphing API for developers to build add-ons or use Changeling as a morphing backend.
