    About

    Corundum Meadows expands the overworld with colorful biomes and improves standard lowland biomes, adding new plants, decorative blocks, structures, foods, tools, achievements, and music. Its landscapes include Onion, Arid, Flower, and Mushroom Meadows, as well as the Valley of Fluffy Flowers, with plants such as meadow grapes, magnolias, meadow turnips, and moss that can spread across earth and stone. New creatures bring varied interactions: meadow and tundra rodents can be tamed and bred, while terrorbirds can be raised from eggs and ridden as cargo-carrying combat mounts. Other wildlife offers distinctive uses, from four kinds of hawk moth that trade items for flowers to mushroom crabs that may provide bone meal or gunpowder, and white catfish that can yield caviar. Cold-biome elk buffalo can be tamed and fitted with cargo or armored saddles, while the neutral ancient titanium turtle can provide shell material for protective gear with underwater benefits. The mod also adds dangerous encounters, including famine creatures that cause hunger, a spreading pair of Wild Magnolia and Blooming Zombie, and the Corundum Guardian, a boss that attacks with explosive crystals and can heal itself. Exploration can lead to structures such as the Winemaker's House, Sorcerer's Tower, Altar of Corundum, Mushroom House, and Leatherworker's Hut. Corundum-based equipment supports both utility and progression: the chisel reshapes stone, the abrasive repairs tools at the cost of enchantments, and the Ancient Corundum Pickaxe upgrades through three tiers to fast 3-by-3 mining. World creation settings let players disable individual mobs, and the Guardian encounter ends with a choice that changes the reward.
