    About

    Create: Ironworks expands Create’s metalworking with Tin, Bronze, and Steel, adding Tin Ore and related materials, items, and alloy recipes. Bronze can be made from Tin and Copper without heating, while Steel uses Iron and Coal Dust; the mod also adds ways to make Brass, Bronze, and Steel alloys from crushed materials or nuggets. The added gear includes Copper, Bronze, Brass, Rose Quartz, Sturdy Sheet, and Steel armor, tools, and weapons, with armor sets that can be trimmed and distinct trade-offs in durability, defense, and enchantability. New Hammers mine a 3-by-3 area, while Paxels combine the mining functions of pickaxes, axes, and shovels; both tool types also have versions made from vanilla materials and trade mining speed for added functionality. Tin can substitute for Iron in several vanilla recipes, Bronze can craft Bells, and Coal Dust can be combined with Blaze Powder to make Gunpowder; Steel also enables a higher-success Precision Mechanism recipe and can replace Diamond when upgrading gear or duplicating Netherite Upgrade Templates. The mod is designed to work with Create and lists compatibility with Create: Molten Metals, Create: Dreams & Desires, Tinker's Construct or Hephaestus, Epic Knights, Better Gold Equipment, and Better Smithing Upgrades.
