About
Create: Pantographs & Wires is a Create addon for building more realistic modern electric trains and railway networks, adding overhead electrical infrastructure and train equipment. Its trackside components include masts that can be placed at varied sizes and angles, cantilevers with different sizes and insulator types, and several wire variants placed between connection points using a Wire Coil. Catenary wires can run above the tracks between supports such as cantilevers or headspans, while headspans carry multiple wires across wider spans where cantilevers are difficult to place. A pantograph mounted on an assembled train automatically extends or adjusts to the height of a catenary wire overhead, and folds down when no wire is detected. The mod also provides power wires and decorative elements for catenary and power wires; despite their name, power wires are currently decorative and do not transmit energy.
