CustomItems is a configuration-driven mod for adding tailored content to Minecraft without changing a server or world’s existing playstyle. Using JSON files, users can define creative tabs, blocks, items, crops, foods, tools, armor, fluids, and chests, as well as modify properties of existing blocks and items. Custom blocks can be given properties such as material, mining requirements, hardness, explosion resistance, light level, textures, and drops; multiple textures support block designs such as wood or crafting-table-like blocks. Crops can be configured with seeds and fruit, growth-related harvesting behavior, and drop ranges, while foods can restore hunger and apply one or more potion effects. Tools and armor have configurable characteristics such as durability, efficiency, damage, protection, and enchantability, and custom fluids can be set as liquids or gases with adjustable flow-related properties. The mod also supports custom chests, including options for inventory dimensions and stack capacity, and configurable ore generation with control over the target block, dimension, biome, vein size, and height range. Custom content does not come with its own recipes or textures, so users provide textures through a resource pack and can configure recipes separately with MineTweaker.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs and code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
