A modpack for building, magic, quests, and exploring new worlds.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 118 graded mods, 18 are graded A or B, 20 C and 80 D to F. Its last update came out 10.4 years ago, for Minecraft 1.7.10. See the mods
MeatyPack is a broad modpack built on MeatyPack Lite, combining high- and low-tech construction, magic, and RPG-style exploration and adventure. Its technology side supports building machines and systems for automation, processing, power, transport, and storage, with examples including Applied Energistics 2, BuildCraft, MineFactory Reloaded, Extra Utilities, and Logistics Pipes. For different building styles, Immersive Engineering offers low-tech and multiblock designs, Steamcraft brings steampunk flavor, and Railcraft lets players build locomotives. Adventure content includes the Aether II and Twilight Forest dimensions, Better Dungeons, Better Questing, and hostile creatures from Grimoire of Gaia; exploration can also turn up Chance Cubes and Loot Bags. Magic and crafting options range from Thaumcraft, Botania, Draconic Evolution, and Reliquary to Tinkers’ Construct for making custom weapons and tools, alongside ChocoCraft for raising Chocobos and FullThrottle Alchemist, described as a successor to Dartcraft. Biomes O’ Plenty expands the world’s biome selection, while Et Futurum brings selected features from newer Minecraft versions into the pack’s older base game.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.7.10 · Forge, 15 Jun 2016). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
10 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 21 May 2016 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 125 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
5 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 125 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 3 of the 42 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
83 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
