New creatures, foods, and places bring life to barren deserts.

Desert's Bounty expands the desert biome with new wildlife, resources, food, building materials, and places to explore. Its creatures include hopping, breedable jerboas that live in dens, passive lizards that drop scales, powerful hostile wasps that yield chitin for armor, and tameable, neutral Chevers that become aggressive as a group if one is struck. The mod adds agave and wild beans as crops, along with foods such as baked beans, raw lizard, and nopales; agave can also be used in potions. Other useful additions include a durability potion, dust bombs that blind entities, and a Tumbleweed music disc with a Western-style track. Desert building options include cactus wood, Pinyon wood, black sand and its sandstone variants, dyeable adobe and adobe bricks, and sanded dirt that can be brushed to reveal dirt. Quicksand behaves like powder snow but does not harm players, and wasp nests can hold a wasp and may be found near wandering wasps. A new Black Sand Dunes biome features black sand, a well, and camels, while Pinyon trees grow in both it and the desert and may host wasp nests. Exploration can lead to the Sphinx, which may contain loot, desert ruins with suspicious sand and loot, black sand wells, and jerboa dens. The plant additions include Ocotillo for pink dye and Desert Lily for white dye.

No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI was used for its sound
Suno is named in the sound files in its files.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
