A harsh desert with super intelligent mobs and deadly temperatures.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 115 graded mods, 76 are graded A or B, 27 C and 12 D to F. Its newest release is for Minecraft 1.20.1. See the mods
Desert Apocalypse A Multiverse Adventure turns the desert into a demanding survival setting where dangerous temperatures and tougher mobs make staying alive the central challenge. Combat and survival are made harsher by limb-based damage and ultra-hardcore health, while skeletons can snipe from far away and blood-moon zombie hordes can climb walls, demolish defenses, and track players by scent. The pack also hints at a threat rumbling beneath the desert sands, and works on its own without requiring the creator’s separate video map.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 20 Feb 2025). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 115 of its 118 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
4 mods send something about you
We read the code of 114 of its 117 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 8 of the 94 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
23 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
