Create camera cutscenes that guide players through your world.

Director's Camera lets server owners and pack makers create and play camera cutscenes for individual players, nearby groups, or everyone on a server, giving viewers a framed tour or reveal without moving their own character through the scene. Record a path in game with the Director's Camera item by placing camera points as you move, then preview and edit the shot; recordings can be saved for reuse or exported as datapack JSON or KubeJS scripts. Paths can use smooth or straight interpolation, adjustable timing, and generated moves such as orbits, flybys, descents, spins, spirals, arcs, and looping panoramas. Cutscenes can include timed sounds, screen effects, screen shake, server actions, and chained follow-up shots, while skippable scenes let players hold jump to leave early. Cutscene Anchors make paths relative to a room or structure, so the same shot can work across rotated copies; an anchor can also trigger playback when a player approaches it. For scripted content, the optional KubeJS integration can build and control shots, run logic at timed moments, and respond to playback events. The mod also includes a Bedrock-style keyframe animation system with expressions, loop modes, and blended transitions for driving the camera or other animated elements.
Written from CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 3 areas: PlayerChanges 2 game code files in this area: your character: movement, abilities, hunger and controls., Rendering and graphicsChanges 1 game code file in this area: drawing mobs, items, particles and textures on screen. and Game optionsChanges 1 game code file in this area: settings, key bindings and the option screens..
Adds 1 block, 1 item and 1 entity.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
