DragN’s Deadly Dinos is a post-apocalyptic survival mod set decades after an ecological disaster, where disease and prehistoric predators have devastated humanity. It adds more than 50 prehistoric creatures, from land dinosaurs such as Allosaurus, Spinosaurus, Triceratops, and Tyrannosaurus to marine life including Mosasaurus, Megalodon, and Basilosaurus. Encounters vary by species: some dinosaurs attack on sight, others are neutral or passive, and certain creatures can be tamed, ridden, or equipped with chests; taming may involve hatching eggs and feeding species-specific foods. Survival centers on fending off predators and scavenging, including looting supplies such as iron and canned food from wrecked cars found across the world. Defeated dinosaurs provide bones, meat, and leather, with bones usable for tiered armor and tools or cooked into marrow for soup; the mod also adds reinforced blocks for protecting a base. The world gains prehistoric plants and trees, including jungle-growing Yew Plums and mountain conifers and Grand Sequoias, as well as Cyperus plants in hot biomes that yield Tiger Nuts. Dinosaur trophies can grant each creature’s unique effect when used, and common configuration options let players adjust spawn frequency and block damage caused by dinosaur attacks.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.5 to 1.18.2.
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds:
Counted from the files of the mod. Content made only in its code is not counted.
Replaces 2 of vanilla Minecraft's recipes, 2 advancements and 1 text file.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.5 to 1.18.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.5 to 1.18.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs and code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
