    About

    [SBW] Drone Warfare is an addon for Superb Warfare that adds a modern drone-combat and support system, with controllable aircraft for scouting, attacks, transport, and reconnaissance. Its seven drone types include a nimble FPV scout, the gasoline-powered LUCAS and Geranium-2 one-way attack drones, a controllable glide bomb, a cargo-carrying Delivery Drone, a payload-dropping Heavy Bomber, and the long-range Ukrainian Bayraktar TB2, which can launch Yasin 105 TBG missiles. Pilots control drones through a monitor and, for FPV flight, must wear FPV Goggles; depending on the craft, they can fit modules, manage inventories and fuel, or use waypoints and coordinates to direct flights. FPV drones can use a visible fiber-optic cable for control, making them less vulnerable to some signal jamming while leaving the cable itself exposed to damage. The Delivery Drone transports an Extraction Crate without losing its contents, while the Heavy Bomber can carry and drop mines, mortar ammunition, RPG rockets, C4, and Javelin missiles. Defensive equipment includes anti-drone nets for structures and vehicles, portable detectors and signal interceptors, and jammers that can disrupt wireless control or cause drones to lose control and crash. Drones can be damaged, shot down, disrupted, or stopped by nets, and their sounds, flight characteristics, fuel use, control range, detection, and other behavior can be adjusted through configuration options.
