Ducky Peripherals extends ComputerCraft with peripherals and objects that let computers interact with the world and, when Hex Casting is installed, read and write its magical data. Its Weather Machine reports local weather, precipitation, temperature, and biome, while the Entity Detector finds nearby entities, including players, and signals when they enter or leave its range. The Sculkophone sends vibration events with the sound type and distance, and the Keyboard lets players type directly into a connected computer, with configurable dye colors for different sections. Rubber Duckies squeak when clicked or given a redstone signal, and can be dyed or named, offering a playful companion for thinking through code. For Hex Casting, the Focal Port transfers Iotas between a computer and a focus, while additional peripherals can read patterns and Iotas from slates, Akashic bookshelves and records, and report or control aspects of an Impetus spell circle. Hex Casting is optional, and Tech Reborn adds crafting recipes for the mod’s content.
Written from Modrinth , CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
Adds 8 blocks, 1 item, 1 entity, 10 recipes, 1 loot table and 3 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
