About
Easycolony is a Minecolonies addon that streamlines colony management by changing how citizens and builders behave. Citizens stay near their work huts instead of repeatedly travelling to retrieve items, while builders remain at construction sites and can place blocks from any distance. Players can use a configured item, the Totem of Undying by default, to attempt to resurrect a citizen by right-clicking their tombstone; the chance depends on cemetery level, colony happiness, and a configurable multiplier. A configured, non-consumable item, the compass by default, lets players right-click a citizen to see what they are currently doing. When non-combat citizens are attacked by entities outside the colony, they glow and send an SOS notification to colony managers. With Universal Pinyin Search installed, the addon enables Chinese phonetic searches in colony interfaces, including mailbox requests and farm item selection. Configuration options let players enable or disable simplified builder AI, adjust builder placement intervals, and choose whether to allow manual resurrection and citizen activity reading, including the items used for those actions. The addon also checks for updates when a world is entered and can display information about new versions.
