Enchanted: Wands & Tomes adds an approachable, vanilla-friendly spellcaster playstyle through two enchantable gear types: wands for magic projectiles and tomes for defensive bursts that knock back nearby entities and projectiles. Both can be crafted across tiers from wood or leather through Netherite, with wands firing without ammunition on a short cooldown and tomes providing a quick, timed defensive response rather than continuous shielding. Vanilla enchantments shape each item's abilities, with most effects growing stronger at higher enchantment levels; examples include Multishot adding wand projectiles, Lure or Loyalty drawing nearby items, and Efficiency or Quick Charge shortening cooldowns. Other enchantments create distinct spell-like effects: Soul Speed speeds up wand shots but lets a tome teleport, Riptide gives tomes a dash, and Mending or Unbreaking lets wands fire healing projectiles while tomes heal their user. The mod also adds material-based wands and tomes for numerous other mods, including Botania, Twilight Forest, the Aether, Ice and Fire, Mystical Agriculture, and Allthemodium, with many variants carrying built-in effects. When Ars Nouveau is installed, holding wands or tomes can boost spell damage or mana-related attributes, while Iron's Spells and Spellbooks adds bonuses to spell power, cooldown reduction, and cast-time reduction; these integrations can be configured off.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 146 items, 1 projectile, 146 recipes and 5 advancements.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs and code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
