Your mobs move with more lively, detailed animations.
Fresh Animations is a resource pack that overhauls the default-style Minecraft creatures with more dynamic, expressive models and animations, aiming to make them feel more believable. Its animated roster spans villagers and illagers such as witches, evokers, vindicators, pillagers and ravagers; familiar creatures including creepers, zombies, skeletons, spiders and endermen; and animals such as pigs, sheep, foxes, cats and wolves. It also covers Nether and End inhabitants, aquatic mobs, and newer creatures, with examples including piglins, ghasts, striders, axolotls, frogs, allays, bees, sniffers, bogged, bats, snow golems and happy ghasts. The pack uses custom entity models and model animations, requiring OptiFine’s corresponding features or the EMF and ETF alternatives to display its changes. Optional Fresh Animations Extensions add further features and are designed to be loaded above the base pack; they are intended for the vanilla look and may conflict with other packs that alter entity models.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Changes 265 mob and entity textures, 13 armor textures and 1 other file.
Adds 2 mob and entity textures and 2 particle textures. In OptiFine's formats: 189 entity models.
Textures are mostly 32 by 32 pixels, up to 128 by 128.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a resource pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A resource pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

These projects do not work together with Fresh Animations: their authors or Fresh Animations' author say so. If you install both, the game can crash or some features can stop working. Some of them do the same job as Fresh Animations, so you only need one.
