Native trees from saplings!
27.7 of the 64 points that apply = 43 out of 100. The points above are rounded to whole numbers.
Endemic changes vanilla sapling growth so trees can grow into variants native to their surroundings, letting players regrow swamp oaks, tall birches, and pine spruces as well as ordinary trees. Growth depends on biome categories rather than requiring an exact native biome: for example, oaks favor temperate forests, hills, and plains; spruces favor taiga, mountains, and snowy biomes; and dark oaks are limited to dark forests, while rivers and oceans make growth outside native habitats easier. Outside a tree’s preferred habitat, saplings can be configured to grow normal, stunted, or dead forms, or to fail to grow; low light can also produce dwarf or shrub-like trees. Settings let players tune growth chances and sky-light requirements, and rules can account for dimensions, elevation, temperature, and downfall to shape where particular trees thrive. Its data-driven configuration can also cover modded saplings that use the vanilla tree grower, while saplings without a custom configuration retain their vanilla behavior.
Written from Modrinth and the GitHub README . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.18 to 1.18.2.
Changes the game's code in 1 area: Blocks and fluidsChanges 1 game code file in this area: how blocks, fluids and redstone work..
Adds no new blocks, items or other content.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.18 to 1.18.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.18 to 1.18.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs and code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
