Euphoric Curiosity is a large adventure modpack that combines magic, technology, exploration, and custom player races. Race choices can impose challenges such as needing to stay in water or avoiding meat, while some races grant advantages such as phasing through blocks or flying without an Elytra. Its fantasy and combat content includes spellcasting, RPG-style classes such as wizards, paladins, priests, rogues, and warriors, plus skills, runes, bosses, and weapons from Marium’s Soulslike Weaponry and MC Dungeons Weapons. Technology and building options range from Create and its add-ons to Applied Energistics 2, Modern Industrialization, Tech Reborn, Industrial Revolution, and Ad Astra. Exploration is broadened by added biomes and dimensions, including Traverse, Terrestria, BetterNether, BetterEnd, Deeper and Darker, and Ad Astra, as well as structures such as YUNG’s improved strongholds, dungeons, mineshafts, desert temples, ocean monuments, and witch huts. The pack also expands settlements and world encounters with features such as Towns and Towers, Better Villages, Sky Villages, Underground Villages, Guardians Galore, Mythic Mounts, and bosses of Mass Destruction. Farming and cooking are supported by Croptopia, Farmer’s Delight, Cultural Delights, Farmer’s Respite, and food-focused Create add-ons. FTB Quests provides a questing component, while Waystones and Explorer’s Compass offer tools for navigating the expanded world. A public multiplayer server is available at euphoric.modded.fun.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Fabric, 3 Sep 2024). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
7 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 9 Sep 2023 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the projects yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 287 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make its mods
We found no AI use from before this release (3 Sep 2024) in the 230 mods we checked.
9 mods show AI use only from after it, so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
49 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
