Epic Core API is a developer-focused library for manipulating Minecraft entities through APIs and commands, built on CoreMod, Java Agent, and Mixin technologies, with an MCreator plugin for using its APIs in MCreator projects. Its entity tools can set and lock health or maximum health, prevent healing, apply damage, kill or revive entities, control invulnerability, teleport or lock their location, remove entities, and manage spawning bans and force-loaded chunks. Health changes can account for entities whose real health is stored outside the usual vanilla fields, using analysis and verification to find and update the relevant storage; some advanced methods are gated by configuration. The mod also supplies entity extensions, block and item extensions, Blender-model animation and skill controls, and dimension-wide fog, skybox, and combat-music overrides. Additional modules support cinematic BossShow cutscenes, player screen filters such as sketch, matrix, rain, snow, and cosmos, custom factions with configurable relations and leaders, and custom raids that can be started and managed in the world. Vanilla attribute limits are raised to Double.MAX_VALUE by default, with an option to disable that behavior in the configuration.

No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
api.openai.com api.anthropic.comepic-core-api-1.1.7-fix-fix.jar, CurseForge epic-core-api-1.1.7-fix-fix.jar. 3 classes changed, in net.eca.util: ForceLoadingManager$TrackedChunk, ForceLoadingManager, RaidManager.Sends unknown data
Sent to an address built while the game runs.
We found this in its code, read without running it.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
Can use AI in the game
Can send the text you write to Anthropic and OpenAI (you provide your own key).
We found this in its code, read without running it.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
Point at or tap a version to see its loaders.
Modpacks that include Epic Core API in at least one of their versions, most downloaded first.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 10 releases needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This lowers the grade by 4 points.
