Extra Pieces expands block-building options by generating configurable shape variants for vanilla blocks and blocks supplied by other mods. Its nine piece types are slabs, stairs, fences, walls, fence gates, vertical slabs called Sidings, sideways stairs called Corners, and the non-connecting fence- and wall-like forms called Posts and Columns. The variants can be made from selected base blocks through JSON Piece Packs, which let users or other mods choose piece sets and specify which shapes to include or exclude. Sidings can face any cardinal direction, while Corners provide a sideways stair shape; Posts and Columns can be oriented on another axis and do not connect to neighboring pieces. Many pieces can be converted to and from related shapes or recombined into their base block, and stonecutting offers another way to craft them when enabled for a set. Piece Packs can also account for existing vanilla shapes, adjust textures, and tailor crafting behavior, including whether a piece is stonecuttable or uncraftable. When Woodmill is installed, the mod can automatically add woodmilling recipes for wooden piece sets.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.14 to 1.16.1.
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 1,378 blocks, 1 item and 2,924 recipes.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.14 to 1.16.1.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.14 to 1.16.1.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
